Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) is a natural, renewable, and versatile phenolic compound extracted from the soft honeycomb shell of the cashew nut. It serves as an important raw material in the manufacture of high-performance industrial products due to its excellent friction, thermal resistance, and polymerization properties. Industrial-grade CNSL is dark brown in color and has a characteristic odor, widely used in coatings, resins, brake linings, and chemical intermediates.
